Blogging Your Way To The Top

Recently I am trying to use blogs to promote my business websites, most of the blogs I am working on are wordpress based, its a fact that WordPress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, with the fact that its licensed under GPL make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.

After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because subsequently I can use my own blogs to promote my other websites, of course this is not a new idea, there are a lot of blog networks out there doing just that, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, in addition there is no way I can post to them, obviously I will have to pay the owner to use their blogs, probably not cheap at all.

Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you’re not going to just put spams on them, to put real content on your site won’t be an easy job, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. Some blogs are quite interesting, let’s examine this one, Retractable Dog Leash, it has a nice name, and there are a lot of interesting articles on it, without a clear theme, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. One more example, Truck Tie Down, this one has main theme, all topics are about same theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. I can show you a lot more sites, but you should already see the point. Last but not least, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, let them get some content occasionally, just like this blog, Winch Strap, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.

If you have a few established blogs already, you can try to build a few more, use the old ones to promote the new ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. Of course its just the beginning, the real stuff will be more complicated, there’s one thing you do have to remember is that don’t ruin your hard work just because you want to cut a few corners.
